School Council 2024-25
School Council have been working hard on different projects throughout the year, below are some examples.

UNICEF:
School Council have work hard and received the Unicef UK Right Respecting Schools Bronze Award.
We also worked together to agree on the school Vision Statement, as shown below.
These poster are displayed around our school.
School Council have also created a friendship award.
The winning design certificate was by Harvey in year 6.

Safeguarding
School council discuss safeguarding in every meeting. They created these more child friendly posters, shown below, for the pupils. One is for Foundation Phase pupils and the one with the Childline phone number is for Key stage 2 pupils. The posters are up around the school and in each class.


Hall Mural – School Council Creativity

The QR code above links to the mural in the hall. The pupils from school council drew pictures that the artist took a look at, and worked with him to design and then create the mural, as shown below.

School Council Fundraising
The posters below show the money raised for Children in Need in November 2024 and the money raised for Red Nose Day in March 2025 led by the school council, who led the fundraising, counted all of the money and paid it in at the local post office.


Attendance 2024-2025
School Council have been working hard to help improve our overall attendance as a school.
Our target for this Summer Term is to reach higher than 89%. Our current attendance is 90.3%.

School Council update this every week after our school assembly.
The best class of the week will be rewarded with extra playtime.
